Fudge Brownie Balls

These fudge brownie balls are high in protein and great for on the go!

INGREDIENTS:

Truffles

  • 2 scoops Natural Protein Powder

  • 5 dates

  • 1 tsp Vanilla

  • 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 3 tbsp Cocoa Powder

  • 3 tbsp All-Purpose or Gluten-Free Flour

  • OPTIONAL: 1/4 cup Chocolate Chips and/or Chopped Peanuts 

  • OPTIONAL: 2 tbsp Peanut Butter

Coating

  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips

  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil

  • 1/4 cup Mixed toppings such as chocolate, peanuts, etc.

DIRECTIONS:

  • Blend the dates and protein powder together

  • Add in vanilla and salt. Pulse a few times and then add in cocoa powder and flour, pulse until a big ball of dough forms.

  • Break apart the dough a bit, and add your choice of fillings, and pulse again until evenly distributed. Use a cookie scoop or spoon to scoop out lil’ balls of dough, and store in an airtight container in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours.

  • To decorate, melt chocolate chips with the coconut oil in a saucepan on low on the stove, stirring constantly until smooth. Dip, drizzle, and/or coat your brownie balls with crushed peanuts and chocolate chips and store in parchment in the fridge until set–about 20 minutes.
